Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Chop Finance, a brand of Deukaa Life Private Limited ("Chop", "we", "us"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit chopfinance.ai, sign in, submit a form, message us or use our services. We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

01Who we are

Deukaa Life Private Limited is a company incorporated in India. Our registered office is at Flat No. 22, B Block, Amar Enclave, near Nandanpur Path, Beltola, Guwahati, Assam, India. For any privacy question, write to legal@chopfinance.ai.

02Data we collect

We collect only the data we need to provide our services and run our website.

• Contact details. Name, email address, phone number and company name you give us through forms, email, calls or messages.
• Google sign-in data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture, as permitted by you on the Google consent screen.
• Uploaded documents. Invoices, bills, statements and other documents you share with us so we can deliver accounting and compliance services.
• Messaging data. Messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or email, including the content and the time they were sent.
• Lead form data. Information you submit through our Facebook or Instagram lead ad forms, which Meta shares with us.
• Usage and device data. IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL and similar data collected through cookies, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel.

03How we use your data

• To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
• To provide the services you request, including accounting, compliance, reporting and collections.
• To respond to your enquiries and send service-related messages.
• To send you WhatsApp messages about your enquiry, account, invoices, payment reminders and service updates, and, where you have agreed, offers and product news.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it.
• To measure the performance of our advertising and show relevant ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram.
• To prevent fraud, keep our systems secure and meet our legal obligations.

04Consent and legal basis

We process personal data with your consent, or for legitimate uses permitted under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as complying with law. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to legal@chopfinance.ai. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it, and we may be unable to continue providing some services afterwards.

05WhatsApp communication and consent

When you give us your phone number through our website, a Facebook or Instagram lead form, a call or a message, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages from Chop Finance at that number. These may be transactional (such as replies to your enquiry, onboarding, document requests, invoices, payment reminders and service updates) or promotional (such as product news and offers).

We send WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta, either directly or through an authorised WhatsApp Business Solution Provider. Message content, your phone number and delivery status are processed by these providers to deliver the messages.

06Opting out of WhatsApp messages

You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time, in any of these ways:

• Reply STOP. Send "STOP" in reply to any WhatsApp message from us.
• Email us. Write to info@chopfinance.ai with the subject "Unsubscribe" and the phone number you want removed.
• Block or report. Use the block or report options in WhatsApp.

07Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we use your name, email address and profile picture only to authenticate you and to create and maintain your Chop account. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or other Google services.

Chop's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalised AI or machine learning models. Our staff do not read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or where required by law. You can remove Chop's access at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

08Meta Pixel and lead ads

We use Meta Pixel on our website. It allows Meta to collect information about your actions on our site, such as pages viewed and forms submitted, using cookies and similar technologies. We use this to measure our ads and show relevant ads to you on Facebook and Instagram. Meta processes this information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy.

When you submit a Facebook or Instagram lead ad form, Meta shares the information you entered with us. We use it only to contact you about the enquiry you made.

You can control how Meta uses this data through Ad Preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings, and you can block cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

09Google Analytics and Google Ads

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, and Google Ads to measure conversions and show ads to people who have visited our site. Google may use cookies to collect this information.

• Ads personalisation. Manage or turn off at adssettings.google.com.
• Analytics. Opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

10Your financial data

Financial documents and accounting data you share with us are used only to deliver the services you engaged us for. We do not use them for advertising, share them with advertising partners, or use them to train AI models.

11Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers. Cloud hosting, email and analytics providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
• WhatsApp API providers. Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) and authorised WhatsApp Business Solution Providers that deliver our WhatsApp messages.
• CRM tools. Customer relationship management software we use to record enquiries and manage our relationship with you.
• Google and Meta. As described in the sections above.
• Professional advisers. Auditors, lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities. Government bodies, courts or regulators where required by law.
• Business transfers. A buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

12Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy. When you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep under tax, company or other laws, which we keep for the period those laws require and then delete. Enquiry, lead form and WhatsApp data from people who do not become clients is deleted within 12 months of our last contact, or earlier if you ask us to.

13Security

We follow reasonable security practices, including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access and least-privilege access for our staff. Data is stored with access controls on secure cloud infrastructure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

14Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct, complete or update your personal data.
• Request erasure of your personal data (see our Data Deletion page).
• Withdraw consent you have given.
• Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

15Compliance with legal obligations

We comply with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We also follow Meta's data handling requirements, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, the WhatsApp Commerce Policy and Meta's terms for lead ads and business tools.

16Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

17Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If changes are significant, we will also tell you by email, by WhatsApp or through a notice on our website before they take effect.
